Dräger Fire Fanshop FAQ

 

Who is eligible to purchase items from the Dräger Fire Fanshop?

At this time, the Dräger Fire Fanshop is only available to those living in the European Union (EU). Customers from a non-EU country might become liable to Customs and Excise Duty as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) payments. Customers from a European non-EU country must reach out via email. During working days we will answer to you within 24 hours. Delivery period varies for orders coming from a non-EU country. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to expand our offerings soon.

 

What are the benefits of creating a customer account in the Dräger Fire Fanshop?

Creating a customer account and login allows you to store personal data such as delivery address or payment method. This will save time when you want to place a new order. You can also sign up to receive an update when out of stock items are available.

 

Can I order without a customer account?

Yes, you may place an order as a guest if you do not wish to create an account. All the necessary data will be requested during the ordering process.

 

What do I do if I forgot my password?

Simply click on "Forgot password" and instructions to reset your password will be sent to the e-mail account we have on file. 

 

What do I do if I forgot my e-mail address?

Due to privacy reasons, we are not able to recover forgotten email addresses. If you forget the e-mail address you used to register your account, we ask that you register with the site again and create a new account. You will no longer have access to your old account. 


How can I check the availability of my desired item?

An item’s availability will always be listed on the item detail page. If a product is sold out, you can request to be notified via e-mail when the item is available by clicking „Inventory reminder.” Please note that this function is only available if you have a customer account and are logged in.

 

What are packaging units?

You may notice some articles are offered in packing units, for shipping efficiency. The quantity per packaging unit is displayed in the shop. Packaging units cannot be opened and can only be ordered as a unit. Please take note if you are ordering an individual item, or a packing unit, which includes more than one individual item.

 

How long will my shopping cart be reserved?

The contents of your shopping cart is saved for a maximum of 30 minutes. For security reasons, you will be automatically logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity and your shopping cart will be cleared. The items reserved in your shopping cart will then be released back into inventory. Your shopping cart will not be cleared or deleted if you remain active in the shop.

 

What are my payment options?

You may pay for orders via PayPal Plus, a secure payment method that accepts registered PayPal accounts and credit cards. For customers in Germany, direct debit is also accepted. You do not need to sign up for an account to use PayPal Plus.

 

How can I change or cancel my order?

Orders are processed immediately after they are received to ensure the quickest delivery possible. Change of delivery address, change to items, or cancellation of an order are only possible within 2 hours after receipt. Please call customer service directly at +49 (0)6243 4576 451. Changes or cancellation by e-mail is unfortunately not possible.

 

How long does it take for my order to arrive at the requested delivery address?

All orders are sent through DHL, which requires 3 - 5 working days for delivery within the EU.

 

How can I check the shipping status of my order?

You will receive an order confirmation via e-mail after you place an order. This confirmation will include a tracking number you can click to track your shipment.

 

How much is shipping?

Delivery within Germany is fulfilled by DHL. A flat fee of 6,90 Euro will be added to your order at check-out for packaging and shipping. Shipping to other countries vary based on the destination and will be determined during check out.

 

How do I make a complaint?

Our goal is for all customers to have a pleasant and enjoyable experience with the Dräger Fire Fanshop. If you are in anyway not satisfied with your order, we ask that you inform us promptly so we can try to make it right. How can I cancel or return an order?

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier) have taken possession of the package.

To return your items, you must contact us at the address listed below with a clear statement of you decision to cancel and return your order. You may send a letter by post, fax, or e-mail before the cancellation period expires.
